Washington Post Co. Second-Quarter Profit Rises

The Washington Post Co. reported a 13.6 percent increase in second quarter profit.

The company announced net income of $51.8 million, or $6.84 a share, up from $45.6 million, or $5.74 a share, a year earlier.
